How Do I Clean My Drone?

The tips below are some things you should know before cleaning your drone. If you want to make sure you get every last bit out of your drone, then read this guide!

  1. Make sure you have the right tools. Be sure to have everything you require before you begin any task. You'll need a soft brush (or a toothbrush) and cleaning solution (we recommend WD40)
  2. The battery pack should be removed. First, remove the battery pack from your drone's bottom. It is easy to locate the battery under your propeller. Ensure that you don't lose any screws when removing the propeller.
  3. All parts must be removed. Next, carefully remove all the parts from under the drone. You should make sure that they are not loose as they could fall off during cleaning.
  4. Use a cleaning solution. It's now time to clean your drone. We recommend that you use WD40 as a cleaning agent before doing this. Simply spray the entire surface of your drone with the cleaner, making sure to get in between each component. Allow it to dry completely before you assemble everything.
  5. Install the battery. The battery should be reattached after cleaning the drone. This will allow you to check how your drone performs after cleaning.
